Ms. Ruark received her Bachelor’s of Social Work from Southeastern University and Juris Doctor from Regent University. She spent several years as a military spouse before being admitted to the Virginia Bar and settling in the Northern Virginia area. Ms. Ruark enjoys helping clients navigate the emotional and legal challenges of family law matters and is experienced in the areas of divorce, custody and child support. She also represents clients in a variety of other areas, including civil litigation, contract drafting, and estate planning/administration. Before joining General Counsel, Ms. Ruark practiced at Regan Associates, Chartered, representing clients in family law, consumer, probate, immigration, estate planning, traffic, landlord/tenant and bankruptcy matters. Prior to Regan Associates, Chartered, she worked at Legal Services of Northern Virginia, representing domestic violence survivors with family law matters and advocating for children in education law matters.
