Throughout Lachina’s 15 years of experience she has provided her clients with in-depth legal counseling through every stage of various multi-level commercial business transactions. She has guided her clients from initial negotiations to closing deals on multi-million dollar real estate transactions, including commercial leases, and commercial loan transactions. She also represents clients in commercial and consumer litigation in courts and arbitration proceedings.
Lachina regularly works with business owners on implementing policies, procedures, and practices with an eye toward helping them avoid expensive legal battles. Lachina provides her clients with general business advice, drafts and analyzes employment agreements, separation agreements, employee handbooks, company policies, procedures, non-disclosure and confidentiality agreements.
Lachina also represents automobile dealerships in litigation, compliance, regulatory and employment matters in Virginia and Maryland and has extensive experience in all facets unique to automobile dealership operations. Lachina also regularly advises automobile dealerships on subjects such as consumer claims, privacy, advertising, employment, federal and state lending regulations, wage and hour issues, fair labor standards, and insurance matters. She conducts audits of transactional documents, training of personnel, analyzes and negotiates agreements between automobile dealers, floorplan companies, and other financial institutions.
